Dan Marcus

Daniel J. Marcus brings to client relationships more than 20 years of experience in consulting, corporate communications and journalism.

Prior to founding Marcus Associates in 2000, Dan was Vice President of Corporate Communications for PanAmSat Corporation, a global provider of video, data and internet services via satellite (now merged with Intelsat). Dan also was a journalist for monthly and weekly publications in Washington. He provided comprehensive reporting and analysis on such varied topics as mergers and acquisitions, wireless communications, military policy, computer technology and the federal budget. During his journalism career, he wrote more than 2,500 news stories on complex technical, financial and policy issues for a diverse readership. He was recognized by Media Guide as a leading national security reporter.

Dan is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Mass., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international relations.
